The Opportunity

The Department of Aerospace Engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) in Daytona Beach Florida invites applications for one or possibly more open rank non-tenure track faculty positions starting in August of 2026. Candidates capable of teaching undergraduate aerodynamics dynamics and control or space systems courses are especially encouraged to apply.

The Department of Aerospace Engineering the largest in the nation with an enrollment of over 2300 students offers Bachelor Master and Ph.D. degrees including 75 students in our PhD program. The undergraduate program is currently ranked #4 and the graduate program is ranked #28 by U.S. News and World Report. Qualifications

Required Education and Qualifications:

  • Earned PhD in Aerospace Engineering or a closely related field. Industry experience is desirable.
