Job Summary

  • Assist in the design development and testing of electrical components equipment and systems under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Support in analyzing test data and suggesting modifications to achieve desired performance and functionality.
  • Participate in design reviews providing constructive feedback and suggestions.
  • Conduct research to solve technical problems and improve existing designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliverables.
  • Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) tools to create sketches and models.
  • Adhere to company policies procedures and safety regulations.

Qualifications :

  • Currently pursuing a bachelors in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Understanding of AC/DC circuits power systems and basic electrical components.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD ETAP SKM PowerTools or similar electrical design software.
  • Ability to interpret single-line diagrams schematics and technical drawings.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and power system challenges.
  • Ability to convey technical concepts clearly through reports and presentations.
  • Willingness to collaborate with engineers technicians and project managers.
  • Experience or coursework in power systems micro-grids or renewable energy (solar/turbine systems).
  • Hands-on experience with electrical testing equipment (e.g. multimeters oscilloscopes power quality analyzers).
  • Knowledge of NEC IEEE and other electrical codes and standards.
  • Basic programming or scripting knowledge (Python MATLAB or PLC programming).
  • Project management exposure or familiarity with tools like MS Project or Primavera P6.
  • Prior internship or relevant work experience in electrical engineering or energy systems

Pay Rate: $18.50 - $20.00 an hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
