TheSenior HR Specialist Shared Services (NAM)is anindividual contributor responsible for delivering high-quality HR Shared Services support for employees inMexico with ongoing coordination and support forCanada and the United States.

This role serves as aregional HR operations and employee support control point ensuring HR transactions employee inquiries and employment-related matters are managed accurately compliantly and in alignment with global standards and local labor requirements across North America.

The role emphasizesoversight coordination triage documentation quality and risk management rather than sole ownership of complex employee relations matters. The specialist partners closely withHR Business Partners Legal Payroll HR Technology and external vendorsto ensure consistent and compliant HR service delivery.

Responsibilities and Impact:

HR Shared Services Oversight & Data Governance

  • Ensureaccuracy and integrity of HR datain the HRIS (e.g. Workday) for employees in Mexico Canada and the U.S.

  • Oversee andvalidateHR lifecycle transactions (hire change leave termination) executed through shared services payroll teams or external vendors.

  • Act as aregional escalation pointfor HR operational issues data discrepancies and service delivery gaps.

  • Partnerwith HR Technology and Shared Services to resolve root causes and improve data and process quality.

  • Support consistent application of HR policies SOPs and service standards across North America withappropriate localinterpretation.

Employee & Manager Support

  • Serve as a senior HR contact foremployees and people leaderson HR policies procedures and HR system inquiries.

  • Triage employee and manager questions to theappropriate resolutionpath (self-service shared services execution HRBP Legal).

  • Provide guidance to managers onperformance management processes leave administration and employee lifecycle events aligned to local laws and global frameworks.

  • Support onboarding offboarding and organizational changes with a clear compliant and employee-focused approach.

Employment Matters & Compliance Coordination

  • Monitor and coordinateemployment-related matters ensuringtimelyinvolvement of HR Business Partners and Legal where risks or sensitivities exist.

  • Independently manageroutine low-risk employee issueswhereappropriate; escalate medium- to high-risk matters with relevant context and documentation.

  • Ensure employment matters areproperly documented tracked and closedin accordance withlocal labor laws and internal governance requirements.

  • Proactively surface trends or emerging risks related to employee relations compliance or workforce practices.

Regional Coordination (Mexico Canada U.S.)

  • Act as alocal HR subject-matter resource for Mexico with working knowledge of how HR practices interface with U.S. and Canadian requirements.

  • Coordinate with regional payroll providers and EOR partners (where applicable) to ensure compliant execution of statutory benefits leaves and reporting.

  • Support cross-border collaboration by translating regional requirements into clear operational guidance for global teams.

Reporting Controls & Continuous Improvement

  • Produce recurring HR reports includingheadcount data quality indicators inquiry volumes and service delivery metrics.

  • Analyze trends toidentifyoperational risks compliance gaps or opportunities for process improvement.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement ofHR sharedservicesworkflows controls documentation and knowledge articlesacross North America.

What Were Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree inHuman Resources Business Administration Industrial Relations or related field.

  • Typically69 years of experiencein HR Operations HR Shared Services or regional HR roles supporting Mexico and/or North America.

  • Strong working knowledge ofMexican labor law (LFT) statutory benefits employment documentation and HR compliance practices.

  • Exposure toU.S. and Canadian HR processes(e.g. benefits administration leave management payroll coordination) in a multinational environment.

  • Experienceoperatingwithin ashared servicesHR delivery model.

  • Fluency in Spanish and Englishrequired(written and spoken).

  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with employees managers and global HR partners.

  • Strong attention to detail and comfort managing HR data controls and documentation.

  • Ability to interpret HR data and translate it into actionable insights for HR partners and leadership.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with HRIS platforms (Workday preferred) including data validation reporting and audit support.

  • Experience supportingcross-border HR operationsis a strong advantage.
