Skills and attributes for success:
- Plan andassistin implementation of security activities at the Top-Secret and higher classification to ensure USSOCOM personnel (Military Civilians and Contractors) and all supported tenant organizations are prepared tooperatein non-traditional environments to perform critical contingency tasks.
- Develop written technical approaches and methodologiesregardingsecurity proposals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of six (6) yearsofPhysical Personnel and Special Security experience within the DoD or equivalent Government agenciesrequired with operational level experience preferred.
- Extensive experience in compartmented programs in DoD U.S. Intelligence community or supporting U.S. Contractors to include PSIP Access control ACCM and SAP/STO process.
- Extensive experience in compartmentedprogramsintegration and effects planning into the Joint or service-specific mission process.
- Extensive experience supporting SCIF planning and accreditation recertificationprocessesand procedures and familiar with the SCIF construction process as per the ICD 705 standard with Special Access Facility Accrediting Official Course Desired.
- Must be capable of planning structuring and leading security training support for other security professionals.
- Firsthand experience with Foreign Disclosure Officer and Foreign DisclosureRepresentativeactions and procedures.
- Experience with personnel background investigations for collateral and special security clearance actions including:
1.)Formulating and ensuring compliance with automated information systems security procedures.
Suggesting implementing andmonitoringcompliance with special security policies and procedures.
2.) Conducting and coordinating the training for special security representatives
3.)Performing as a liaison with Government and industrial security officials overseeing collateral and higher access and badge procedures.
- Position requires experience in compartmented programs in the DoD U.S. Intelligence Community or supporting U.S. Contractors.
- Experience in security training or security inspections is highly desirable.
- Experience briefing personnel on security practices concepts and programs.
- Skilled in applying good judgment to resolve security issues.
- Must have a working knowledge of security policies and procedures to include either National Industrial Security Program Supplement DoD 5200.01 Volume 1-3 DoD 5200.02 or DoD 5105.21 Volumes 1-3.
- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI.
