Pay:$2520/week(plus $2500 completion bonus per contract up to $7500 after three contracts)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our surgical team. The OR RN plays a critical role in ensuring safe and efficient surgical procedures by providing perioperative care maintaining sterile environments and supporting surgeons and anesthesiologists throughout operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms by ensuring all necessary equipment and instruments are sterilized and ready.
- Assess and monitor patients before during and after surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons during operations by anticipating needs and providing instruments and supplies.
- Maintain strict adherence to aseptic and infection control protocols.
- Document patient care accurately and update surgical records.
- Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and follow established protocols.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelors degree in Nursing).
- Licensure: Current RN license in State.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) (preferred)
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room or perioperative nursing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of surgical procedures sterile techniques and OR equipment.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to anticipate surgical team needs and respond quickly.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
