Supermarket acquisition (core responsibility)
- Identify prioritize and approach supermarket chains and independent grocery stores.
- Lead end-to-end deal cycle: prospecting pitch negotiation contract handover.
- Close partners with strong potential for q-commerce (assortment depth delivery readiness pricing competitiveness).
- Secure commercial terms aligned with marketplace profitability and growth.
Q-commerce readiness
- Assess partner operational capability for on-demand fulfillment.
- Align on assortment strategy (top SKUs high-frequency items private label promos).
- Ensure partners can support fast picking stock availability and order accuracy.
Strategic portfolio building
- Fill geographic and category gaps in supermarket coverage.
- Balance acquisition between: Strategic chains (brand pull scale) High-performing local supermarkets (speed and margin)
Cross-functional execution
- Work with onboarding operations and catalog teams for go-live readiness.
- Align with marketing on launch campaigns and in-app visibility.
- Coordinate with finance/legal on contracts billing and compliance.
Performance tracking
- Track funnel health: leads meetings signed live.
- Monitor early performance of newly acquired partners (GMV ramp-up Assortment completeness Availability & cancellations)
- Provide market insights and competitor intelligence.
Qualifications :
- 25 years in business development partnerships sales or marketplace roles.
- Experience in FMCG retail supermarkets or e-commerce preferred.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Comfortable with field sales and partner visits.
- Data-driven and target-oriented.
- Understanding of q-commerce dynamics is a strong plus.
