Functional Analyst SAP QM:

Boston Scientific is looking for an experienced SAP QM functional analyst to support Magellan project (S4 HANA business transformation) within an SAP Center of Excellence. This person will be the primary technical owner which includes development enhancement documentation and support of SAP QM processes and system addition the person will analyze design document test and deliver business systems and Information System process solutions to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution design build and implementation experience with SAP Quality Management including quality inspection across incoming receipts manufacturing and distribution.
• Experience with inventory controls and supplier quality management preferably in Life Sciences / Medical Device companies.
• Thorough understanding of quality master data and hands-on functional configuration experience for SAP QM.
• Work closely with the project team (internal and external) to assure a timely solution
• May lead multiple project activities simultaneously working with internal and external cross-functional groups

• Resolve technical issues including diagnosis of problem recommendations for workarounds and defect correction
• Analyze design construct test and implement system or application enhancements
• Create and maintain all required technical documentation per IS methodology and processes
• Demonstrate technical leadership by staying current on new technologies
• Maintain collaborative working relationship with IS services (database data center servers desktop networking security)
• Understand customers business implications and incorporate understanding into technical and process improvement recommendations
• Lead or support roll-out and implementation of new business applications and functionality specifically within the SAP QM space
• Lead project work stream activities working with internal and external cross-functional groups
• Adhere to project plans tasks and deliverables; identify dependencies and resource requirements
• Appropriately communicate project status escalate issues and manage timelines and action items
• Work closely with the SAP Run Team in the prioritization testing and deployment of system change requests and/or providing support.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• 8 Years of SAPQMimplementation experience
• Experience with3-5 full life cycle implementations in SAP QM
• Strong configuration and implementation skills in the areas of SAP
• Cross Domain functional Knowledge in different SAP modules like MM SD CO PP PM WM and FI
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and methodologies
• Ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-starter with strong proactive work ethic
• Exceptional organizational & time management skills

Preferred Qualification:

• Knowledge on Different Interfaces ( MES/ IDOCS/ RFCS).
• EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) Integration as a significant plus
• Familiar with Charm Process and Solution Manager.
• Experience with Medical Device or Life Sciences beneficial

Compensation for hourly non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g. any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for salaried non-sales roles may also include variable compensation i.e. annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for sales roles is governed by Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives).

International customers and partners represent an important part of our activities. Based on an evaluation we have determined that the duties of Functional Analyst SAP QMposition require knowledge of English in addition to French (oral and written). We also determined that the English language skills already required of other employees do not permit the performance of English language skills tasks related to Functional Analyst SAP QMposition.

However in Québec Boston Scientific limits as much as possible the number of positions for which it requires the knowledge of another language than French. Boston Scientific solely requires proficiency in English where it is necessary for the performance of an employees duties.
