We are looking for an AI Software Engineering Manager to lead a highperforming Scrum team of AI engineers delivering AIpowered software products and platforms.
This role is responsible for building growing and enabling a professional AI engineering team while ensuring stable delivery strong collaboration with Product Management and effective use of AI in daytoday software development.
Beyond delivery this role plays a key part in building an AIaugmented engineering organization where AI technologies are deeply embedded into development workflows team practices and engineering culture.
Responsibilities
- People & Team Leadership
- Lead coach and develop a high performing Scrum AI engineering team fostering a culture of trust ownership and continuous improvement.
- Own people management responsibilities including performance feedback career development goal setting and talent growth.
- Support team members in their professional development helping them grow as AI native software engineers.
- Build a strong team identity and ensure sustainable team health motivation and engagement.
- Delivery & Scrum Execution
- Ensure smooth and effective execution of Scrum ceremonies and sprint activities including planning execution review and retrospectives.
- Help the team clearly understand product requirements technical expectations and delivery goals.
- Actively remove blockers resolve issues and support the team in delivering high-quality software on time.
- Balance delivery requirements with team capacity ensuring realistic commitments and sustainable pace.
- Product & Planning Collaboration
- Partner closely with Product Managers to:
- Translate product vision and requirements into executable delivery plans
- Contribute to product roadmap and release planning
- Align scope priorities and timelines with available engineering capacity
- Act as a bridge between product engineering and stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Partner closely with Product Managers to:
- AI Augmented Engineering Practices
- Help build and scale an AI empowered software engineering team where AI is a natural part of daily work.
- Drive the adoption of AI tools and practices in software development including:
- AI assisted coding
- AI supported testing and quality assurance
- AI generated documentation and knowledge sharing
- Encourage experimentation and learning around AI native development practices that improve efficiency quality and developer experience.
- CrossTeam Collaboration
- Collaborate with other engineering and platform teams to align practices share learnings and scale AI engineering capabilities across the organization.
- Contribute to broader engineering standards delivery practices and team level improvements.
Qualifications :
We are seeking a seasoned professional with a strong technical background and a passion for building world-class AI applications.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- 3 years of experience in engineering management or people leadership role.
- Experience leading Scrum or Agile development teams.
- Handson experience delivering AI / LLM powered software products (e.g. Chat Agents RAG workflow automation).
- Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum practices sprint execution and delivery management.
- Proven ability to balance people management delivery execution and stakeholder collaboration.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with Product Managers and crossfunctional partners
- Curiosity and continuous learning mindset around AI trends.
- Comfortable partnering with AI specialists and engineers and translating AI concepts into executionlevel priorities for the team.
- Start-up Mindset
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience building or scaling AIfocused engineering teams.
- Handson experience leading or managing teams delivering agentbased or agentic AI systems
- Experience driving engineering practice or culture improvements not just feature delivery.
