DescriptionThe Benefits Specialist will be responsible for managing and administering employee benefit programs including health wellness and allowances reimbursements. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can ensure compliance with regulations while providing support and guidance to employees regarding their benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer employee benefits programs (HMO allowances government mandated benefits etc)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries about benefits and eligibility.
- Maintain accurate records of employee benefit enrollments and changes.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations pertaining to employee benefits.
- Assist in the development and communication of employee benefits education materials.
- Ensure accurate and consistent benefits trackers.
- Analyze benefits data and prepare reports for management regarding program utilization and effectiveness.
- Support the organization in conducting open enrollment activities and other benefits-related events.
RequirementsQualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in benefits administration or human resources.
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
