Job Summary

Description

The Benefits Specialist will be responsible for managing and administering employee benefit programs including health wellness and allowances reimbursements. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can ensure compliance with regulations while providing support and guidance to employees regarding their benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer employee benefits programs (HMO allowances government mandated benefits etc)
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries about benefits and eligibility.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee benefit enrollments and changes.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations pertaining to employee benefits.
  • Assist in the development and communication of employee benefits education materials.
  • Ensure accurate and consistent benefits trackers.
  • Analyze benefits data and prepare reports for management regarding program utilization and effectiveness.
  • Support the organization in conducting open enrollment activities and other benefits-related events.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in benefits administration or human resources.
  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits legislation and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
