What youll be doing

The Project Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that support the successful delivery of key projects. This role ensures stakeholders are informed engaged and aligned by managing internal and external messaging project updates documentation and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate excels in both strategic communication planning and hands-on content creation.

You will be responsible for...

• Create and implement communication plans for specific projects aligned with organizational goals and timelines.

• Draft and distribute project-related content including newsletters updates presentations reports press releases and internal memos.

• Collaborate with project managers and team members to gather accurate and timely information.

• Maintain consistent messaging and branding across all communication platforms.

• Develop and manage stakeholder lists distribution schedules and communication timelines.

• Organize and support meetings briefings and events related to project milestones.

• Monitor project progress and proactively communicate changes risks or successes to stakeholders.

• Assist with change management and internal engagement strategies during project rollouts.

• Track communication effectiveness and provide metrics or feedback reports to leadership.

What skills & experience youll bring to us

• Bachelors degree in Communications Public Relations Marketing Journalism or a related field

• 2 years of experience in communications public affairs or project support roles

• Exceptional writing editing and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and communication platforms (e.g. SharePoint Mailchimp Teams Slack)

• Experience with content management systems intranet tools or visual design tools (e.g. Canva Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus

• Strong project management and organizational skills

• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and professionally to varied audiences
