We are now seeking an experienced Aftercare Manager to join our team in a proactive improvement-focused role.
About the Role
While you will be responsible for managing and resolving defects as they arise the core focus of this position is prevention improvement and education. You will work closely with delivery teams to strengthen quality systems improve construction methodologies and embed best-practice processes that reduce defects before and during occupancy.
Reporting into senior leadership across both Development and Construction you will play a key role in influencing design delivery methodology handover processes and Owners Corporation outcomes.
This is an ideal opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager Defects Manager Remedial Manager or Maintenance Manager who wants to work proactively and make a lasting impact on project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively manage quality assurance systems processes and site implementation
- Identify recurring defects and root causes and develop strategies to prevent future issues
- Work with construction teams to resolve current defects efficiently and effectively
- Train mentor and support site teams to uplift quality outcomes across projects
- Collaborate with consultants subcontractors and internal stakeholders to improve delivery standards
- Provide feedback to senior leadership on opportunities to improve design methodology and construction sequencing
- Support smoother handover and Owners Corporation processes through improved quality outcomes
About You
- Recent experience delivering residential apartment projects
- Strong working knowledge of the NSW Design Practitioners Act (DPB Act)
- Background in project delivery as a Foreman Site Manager Project Engineer or Project Manager
- Confident stakeholder manager with subcontractors consultants and site teams
- Practical sleeves-up operator with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- High energy resilient and people-focused with a genuine passion for quality
