What youll do:

• Providesqualitypatientcarebyprovidingtechnicalsupporttotheanesthesiaproviders and work areas include (1) Main Operating Room (Russo OR) (2) Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and support of all other areas where Anesthesia services are provided (e.g. Labor & Delivery GI Lab Cath/EP Lab IR etc.). All areas are located on one campus so commuting between sites is needed.

• PerformslaboratorytestsintheAnesthesiaBloodGasLabproviding labresultstotheanesthesiaproviders.

• Provides technical support to the anesthesia providers and the surgical team.

• Followingproperproceduresinsettingupoftransducers. Timelinessinprovidingrequiredequipment. Followingproper proceduresinstocking cleaningand disinfection ofanesthesiacartsand equipment.

• Providesuppliesandequipmentasneeded duringsurgicalprocedurestotheanesthesiaprovider.

• Completes the anesthesia turnover between cases not delaying the start of following procedures.

• Assiststheanesthesiaprovidersindifficult airwaystraumacaseandasneeded

• Provideforpatientsafetybyensuringthatequipmentutilizedis correctlysetup.

• Followingguidelinesintheprocessingandsetupof endoscopesandendoscopicequipmentandcleaningofequipment followinguniversalstandardprecautionwearingPPE.

• Cleaning/disinfectionof anesthesia equipment correctlybetweenpatients.

• Cleaning/disinfectionof anesthesiaequipmentintheORsuiteatthecompletionoftheOR schedule

What youll need for this job:

• High School Diploma required. Preferred: High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education

• Less than one year of previous job-related experience required. Preferred: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience

• Basic Life Support (CPR) required. Preferred: Certification as an Anesthesia Tech

Compensation:

Pay Range: $17.30-$26.81 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience qualifications education location licensure certification requirements and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
