JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
The Senior Manager Grid is accountable for providing leadership direction management and oversight for the activities within the Transmission Lines and Substation Grid organization. This includes providing a safe work environment to perform all required inspection and maintenance tasks outage and failure response and management capital project execution for blanket projects under $250K and support and commissioning of new lines and equipment to be energized and maintained as a transmission line or substation asset.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education required of the position
BS in Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum experience required of the position
8 years in Utility industry or equivalent relevant experience preferably with engineering or operational experience and 3 years of Supervisory experience.
Minimum knowledge skills and abilities required of the position
Demonstrated exceptional leadership ability. Excellent interpersonal skills; team player. Experience in managing/executing capital and/or O&M projects. Thorough understanding of procedures programs and standards. Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multi-projects simultaneously. Knowledge of utility electric system design and operations. Knowledge of budgets financial procedures and property accounting.
