Job responsibilities:
Developsand articulates a clear product strategythat deliversmeaningfulvalue to customersand aligns with the firms broader objectives
Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
Ownsmaintains and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
Builds the framework and tracks the products key success metrics such as cost feature and functionality risk posture and reliability
Build strong and collaborative relationships across different departments including internal teams ( and Engineering ComplianceOperationsand Investments) and with our external partners
Define and manage a highlyorganisedroadmap and supporting backlog to ensure your team is delivering products that will most positivelyimpactcustomers and the business
Be passionate about the Product Development process always striving to improve how products are built to ensure teamsoperateto their maximum effectiveness and efficiency
Balancesbusiness and technicalobjectivesand translate these as clear priorities for the Engineering team
Overseesproduct development testing and release management ensuringhigh standardsof quality and reliability.
Activelyparticipatesinagile ceremoniesincludingdaily stand-ups planning meetingsandretrospectives to drive transparencyaccountabilityand continuous learning
Required qualificationscapabilitiesand skills
Experience or equivalentexpertisein product management or a relevant domain areawithin financial services or technology
Proventrack recordof successfully building wealth management products familiarity with brokerage and/or mutual funds end-to-end lifecycle
Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle design and data analytics
Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery ideation strategic development requirements definition and value management
Experience working in the delivery of large complex digital product initiatives with cross-team dependencies
Experience with software delivery best practices working with technical product requirements and mapping of dependencies design ofminimumviableproducts working with multi-country requirements
Ability to explaintechnical issues ina clear wayto the business and other stakeholders
Ability toanalyseand incorporate user needs business needs and technical constraints/opportunities into the product development process
Be the glue among departments and create shared understanding by translating ideasandconcepts into technical orlaymans terms
Preferred qualificationscapabilitiesand skills
Bachelors degree in engineering computersciencefinanceor highly qualitative degree
Track recordof delivering successful products based on first-principles design working with data and customer feedback
Demonstrated prior experience navigating and working in matrix and complex organizations collaborating effectively across teams and functions
