Job Summary

SUMMARY: Serve as head athletic trainer for Interscholastics programs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors Degree in Sports Medicine Athletic Training or related field

National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) Certification

Athletic Trainers must hold an Arizona State Board of Athletic Training License.

Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card.

CPR and First Aid certification.

Four years of clinical experience.

Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Masters Degree

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE

Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles) or proof of MMR immunization.

Blood borne pathogen training as mandated by OSHA.

Valid Drivers License
MVReport showing no more than the allowable points against Drivers License as described underGoverning Board Policy: EEB-R-1Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.
Reliable mode of personal transportation with evidence of insurance compliance greater than or equal to the state required minimum for car insurance as described underGoverning Board Policy: EEB-R-1Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.

Location:Sabino High School-Snyder & Harrison Area

FTE:1.0 7.5 hours per day
Work Calendar:9.5 month

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
