At Financial Restructuring team we specialize in distressed M&A reshaping results financial restructuring and stakeholder management supporting businesses through periods of pressure or fundamental transformation. Our integrated team delivers tailored pragmatic solutions built on world-class strategic operational and financial insights. Whether its preparing a robust Business Plan to ensure a companys future or navigating complex cross-border special situations we work at a fast pace with private equity firms banks corporates and investors supporting them to execute decisions that create long-term value under short-term pressure.

We have ambitious plans and we are looking for an intellectually curious commercially sharp and ready to work in a high-performance team Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in our offices in Athens and work within our Strategy and Execution practice.

Your key responsibilities

As a Senior Financial Analyst in Financial Restructuring team you will:

• Work in a professional environment alongside a vibrant and exciting team of experienced financial professionals on a variety of projects across a wide range of sectors.
• Contribute as a vital member of the team in executing financial advisory projects. Youll be focused on understanding the clients business profit drivers and trends help clients mitigate risks and improve deal structures.
• Create a diverse experience with each project offering new opportunities to expand your technical expertise over a wide range of sectors.
• Learn and develop technical and personal skills to support achievement of career goals through a blend of structured learning coaching and experiences.

Skills and attributes for success.

What we look for

• Excellent academic background a bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Economics Business or similar and/or masters degree in Finance Accounting or Business
• 3 6 years of relevant working experience ideally in a Corporate Finance department or Big4 professional services firm
• Excellent business writing and verbal communication skills both in Greek and English
• Accounting knowledge and experience (IFRS and Greek GAAP)
• Outstanding organizational skills flexibility and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Excellent analytical project management communication problem solving interpersonal and teaming skills
• Willingness to learn proactivity openness to work in a multicultural environment

Ideally youll also have

• Working experience in audit and assurance and/or M&A or transactions role
• An active CPA/ACCA/ACA/CFA certification (or in a final stage of completion)
• Solid negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to develop long-lasting relationships both internally and externally
