Job Description
The Project
The Alkimos SeaWater Alliance project will deliver WAs next major water source - A new seawater desalination plant at Alkimos. At completion of stage 1 the plant will supply up to 50 billion litres of clean safe drinking water to millions of Western Australians each year.
The project includes the design construction operation and maintenance of the plant with first production in 2028. Works include marine works and tunnels seawater intake system a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant groundwater system drinking water storage and pump system supported by civil electrical and bulk earthworks.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced final trim grader operator to join our team at Alkimos. Reporting to the Earthworks Senior Civils Supervisor you will be responsible for the following:
Ability to safely operate CAT 16M / 150 Grader
Deliver quality final trim and ensure level requirements are met with accuracy and efficiency
Perform daily checks on machinery and report maintenance accordingly
Adhere to safety regulations and procedures

Required Skills and Competencies
Construction White Card
Current drivers license
Minimum 2 years experience as a final trim grader operator
Proven GPS experience
Background in bulk and final trim earthworks
A high awareness for safety
