Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):
Help the Music Department AAAs Piano Technicians and Instrument Coordinator with various tasks throughout the summer including New Student Orientation/Audition weekend. Hours: 15-20 hours per week during business hours with one-two weeks off in July (unpaid). The start date of this position is flexible but preferably by June 4.

Organization responsibility office tasks
Duties and Responsibilities:
Help the Music AAAs finish up the school year and get ready for the upcoming school year by filing copying organizing cabinets and storage spaces hanging posters distributing the mail and running errands. Assist the Instrument Coordinator with inventory and projects with lockers and storage areas and department coordination with Summer Music Academy and Lutheran Summer Music instrument needs. Assist the Piano Technicians with projects including monitoring the humidifier system on department pianos. Must be available 6-8 hours/day during NSO weekend including Labor Day. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)
Music majors preferred but non-majors are welcome to apply. Dependability and confidentiality are required. The ideal candidate would be a clear-thinking well-organized self-starter who can work both collaboratively and alone. Proficiency with Google Docs Sheets and Forms. Able to climb ladders occasionally and lift boxes and equipment up to 35-ish lbs. and maybe more with help. Having a sense of humor is very helpful too.
Wage Range: $11.75-12.75
