We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Staff Nurse to join our team and play a key role in delivering outstanding patient care. As a Senior Staff Nurse you will provide high-quality evidence-based nursing care while supporting and guiding junior colleagues. You will be a visible role model helping to maintain the highest standards of clinical practice safety and patient experience. Working closely with the multidisciplinary team you will ensure smooth day-to-day operations effective communication and consistent delivery of exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe compassionate patient-centred care to the highest professional standards.
Provide clinical leadership mentoring and support to nursing and healthcare staff.
Assist in coordinating daily ward or department activity to ensure efficient patient flow.
Participate actively in care planning assessment and evaluation.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and promote best practice.
Support training induction and professional development of junior staff.
Ensure compliance with clinical governance safeguarding infection control and regulatory standards.
Act as an escalation point and support clinical decision-making when required.
Build strong relationships with patients families and the wider clinical team.

Job requirements
NMC-registered nurse with substantial post-registration experience.
Confident clinically with excellent assessment and decision-making skills.
Strong communicator who can motivate support and lead by example.
Organised proactive and able to work calmly under pressure.
Committed to continuous learning and maintaining high standards of care.
