To reinforce our Financial Control and Consolidation department in Marseille we are looking for a Global Financial Control & Consolidation Intern who will support the team for the consolidation of almost 500 entities in over 160 countries with a complex financing and tax structure and subject to several regulatory environments. Reporting to the Global Financial Control & Consolidation Director the intern will work in a team of approx. 10 people aiming at providing timely accurate compliant and meaningful financial information for external reporting and management reporting. The position will face multiple challenges in the frame of ongoing M&A integrations. The intern will mainly assist the team with the process improvements on intercompany reconciliation data crunching and data quality reviews.
What we are looking for:
Education: Masters degree in finance or accounting (currently enrolled or recently graduated).
Experience: Minimum 3 months of experience in a finance accounting or consolidation role.
Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of IFRS and strong accounting principles.
Tools: Advanced level (VLOOKUP Pivot Tables etc.) knowledge of reporting tool (e.g. OneStream or HFM) is a plus
Soft Skills:
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrates determination and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and pressure.
- Highly organized structured and detail oriented.
- Hands-on can-do attitude and a proactive self-starter.
Languages: Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
