Job Summary
Baba is seeking a warm reliable and communicative Intake Specialist to support patient engagement and appointment scheduling. This role helps ensure patients feel informed comfortable and confident as they move forward with their intake appointments at Baba.
Youll serve as an early point of contact for patients answering questions clarifying next steps and offering gentle reminders to help them follow through on scheduled appointments.
What Youll Do
Reach out to patients ahead of scheduled intake appointments to confirm attendance and answer high-level questions.
Follow up with patients who completed onboarding and insurance verification but have not yet scheduled an intake.
Use phone and email outreach to help patients understand the intake process and available next steps.
Provide a friendly supportive experience that encourages patients to complete their intake.
Track outreach activities to support continuous improvement in scheduling and engagement.
Skills & ExperienceExperience in customer-facing roles such as intake coordination patient outreach customer success or inside sales.
Comfortable communicating by phone and email in a professional and friendly manner.
Strong at addressing questions concerns and uncertainty thoughtfully and helps guide conversations toward clear next steps.
Strong organizational skills and reliable follow-through.
Comfortable working independently in a remote part-time role.
Experience in healthcare Telehealth or insurance-adjacent environments.
Familiarity with CRM patient scheduling and web-based EMR systems.
