Maths Teacher – Portsmouth

We are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a prestigious secondary school in Portsmouth on a full-time permanent basis. About the Role

As a Maths Teacher at this school you will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the potential to contribute to KS5 (A-Level) depending on your experience. Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3/4 with potential KS5 teaching
Assess monitor and track student progress effectively
Develop resources and strategies to engage students in practical and theoretical mathematics
Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
Support extracurricular Maths clubs and enrichment activities
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and innovative teaching techniques

Experience and Qualifications

Degree in Mathematics or a related subject
PGCE or QTS
Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school (ECTs encouraged)
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
Enthusiastic creative and committed to student development
