Job Summary
A well-regarded secondary school in Northampton is seeking a reliable organised and proactive Food Technician to join their Food Technology department. This is a full-time permanent position supporting teaching staff and students across practical food lessons.
About the Role
As a Food Technician you will ensure that all practical food lessons run smoothly by preparing ingredients equipment and workspaces. You will assist teachers and students during lessons maintain a clean and safe working environment and manage resources and stock within the department.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing ingredients equipment and resources for Food Technology lessons
Supporting teachers and students during practical activities
Maintaining hygiene standards cleanliness and safe practices in food workspaces
Organising and maintaining storage areas and equipment
Assisting with departmental administration stock control and ordering resources
Supporting displays food competitions and other department projects
