Due to strategic development of pastoral systems the school is seeking an experienced and highly professional Safeguarding Lead.
Role Overview
The Safeguarding Lead will oversee all safeguarding procedures and ensure compliance with statutory guidance.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading safeguarding policy implementation
Managing child protection referrals
Liaising with social care and external agencies
Maintaining detailed safeguarding records
Delivering safeguarding training to staff
Supporting vulnerable students
Attending multi-agency meetings
Ensuring compliance with KCSIE
Advising SLT on safeguarding matters
Supporting pastoral interventions
This is a senior safeguarding role requiring discretion and resilience.
Safeguarding Team
The Safeguarding Lead works alongside the Headteacher SENCO and pastoral leaders within a structured framework.
Candidate Requirements
Extensive safeguarding experience in education
