Job Summary
Job Summary for X-Ray Tech Position:
- Perform general diagnostic radiology exams primarily for Emergency Department and inpatient units in a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma hospital.
- Work schedule: 72 hours per pay period (5x8 or 4x8 hour shifts) with variable start times (7am 7:30am or 8am).
- Required to work every third weekend; no on-call or floating duties.
- Minimum of 1 year radiology experience required; Level 1 Trauma experience is mandatory.
- Surgical radiology experience preferred but not required.
- First-time travel/contract candidates accepted.
- No floating to other units or sister facilities.
- Scheduling does not accommodate block schedules.
- Local candidates accepted; no pending state licenses accepted.
- Must submit all requested time off during initial application.
- Required certifications: BLS and ARRT.
- Work in a Magnet-designated teaching Level 1 Trauma short-term acute care hospital with 632 beds.
- Use Epic for charting; wear hunter green scrubs; free parking available with badge.
