Key Responsibilities
1. General Safety:
Promote a strong safety culture among SNF employees and contractors
operating at customer sites by ensuring compliance with SNFs internal safety
standards and Responsible Care principles.
Monitor use of PPE adherence to safe work practices and behaviour-based
safety observations.
2. Project Safety:
Evaluate safety requirements during the execution of new projects or pilot trials
at customer sites.
Coordinate with project and operations teams to ensure risk assessments (HIRA
JSA) are conducted before job commencement.
3. Process Safety:
Assess safety risks associated with chemical handling product transfer or usage
at customer facilities.
Identify and communicate safe operating procedures and compatibility
requirements for SNF products.
4. Legal Requirements:
Maintain documentation related to safety inspections trainings and incident
investigations in line with legal expectations.
Coordinate with customer EHS/legal representatives for audits and safety
declarations.
5. Training SNF Sales Team:
Conduct periodic training and refresher sessions on safe handling
transportation and storage of SNF products.
Enable sales personnel to identify and address basic safety risks during customer
visits and provide quick guides and safety FAQs for field teams.
6. Training Customers on SNF Product Usage:
Organize product safety awareness programs including safe dosing storage and
emergency actions.
Share product-specific Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and facilitate
understanding of hazard communication.
7. Customer Site Safety Inspection:
Conduct periodic safety audits and walkthroughs at customer sites where SNF
activities or products are involved.
Document observations non-compliances and best practices; recommend
improvement actions to both internal and customer teams.
