Job Summary
Job Title: AI Project Manager
Location: Mumbai Maharashtra (Hybrid)
Experience: 10 Years (Minimum 5 years in AI/ML project delivery)
Team: In-House AI Center of Excellence (CoE)
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced AI Project Manager to lead the planning execution and delivery of enterprise-grade AI initiatives across energy engineering manufacturing retail and supply chain domains. This role will manage cross-functional AI teams building agentic AI systems generative AI applications computer vision solutions and workflow automation platforms using both open-source and enterprise tools.
The ideal candidate brings strong Agile delivery expertise deep understanding of AI/ML ecosystems and a proven ability to drive measurable business impact such as revenue growth cost optimization productivity improvements and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Define project scope timelines budgets and success metrics for AI initiatives including predictive maintenance RAG-based knowledge systems and intelligent automation.
Lead end-to-end AI project delivery from ideation and PoC to production deployment and scaling.
Collaborate with Data Scientists AI Engineers MLOps Product Teams and business stakeholders.
Implement Agile/Scrum methodologies manage risks and ensure timely delivery.
Establish and enforce AI governance frameworks including model approval processes bias monitoring explainability and data security compliance.
Track KPIs such as model performance ROI cost savings and productivity improvements; present updates to leadership.
Manage integrations with open-source and enterprise tools (LangChain n8n Hugging Face) and cloud platforms.
Drive vendor collaboration infrastructure planning and deployment across cloud and edge environments.
Ensure ethical AI practices and regulatory compliance across all deployments.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
10 years in Project/Program Management with minimum 5 years leading AI/ML projects.
Proven experience delivering AI solutions in manufacturing industrial or automotive environments (predictive maintenance quality inspection inventory optimization).
Strong expertise managing Generative AI initiatives including LLMs RAG frameworks fine-tuning and agentic AI workflows.
Deep understanding of Computer Vision MLOps pipelines and AI lifecycle management.
Experience with AI tools & frameworks: LangChain Hugging Face n8n open-source LLMs (Llama etc.).
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
Experience implementing AI governance frameworks model validation bias monitoring and data privacy controls.
Strong stakeholder management leadership and cross-functional coordination skills.
PMP Scrum Master or Agile certification preferred.
Preferred Experience:
Exposure to industrial AI use cases and smart manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of emerging trends: multimodal AI autonomous agents real-time analytics and edge AI.
Experience working in AI start-ups or high-growth innovation teams.

Work Mode:
Hybrid Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate/work from Mumbai.
