We are seeking an HVAC Dispatcher and Customer Service Representative on behalf of a client in the Greater Baltimore area. This role supports daily operations by coordinating service schedules communicating with customers and technicians and ensuring efficient workflow across service and installation activities. The position is based in an office and showroom environment.
Responsibilities
Provide professional and responsive customer service via phone and in person
Answer incoming calls and manage customer inquiries and service requests
Schedule work with customers and organize the service calendar in a logical efficient manner
Coordinate with service and installation technicians while keeping customers informed of updates
Support technicians with parts ordering scheduling coordination and price verification
Contact new leads and schedule appointments accordingly
Maintain accurate customer records using company software
Assist visitors in the showroom when needed
Manage the on-call schedule and notify technicians of assigned rotations; participate in rotating nights and weekends (required)
Understand and reference service price book and service contract agreements
Perform general office duties including filing sorting greeting customers and administrative support
Requirements
Professional and courteous telephone manner
Ability to manage multiple conversations and tasks simultaneously
Strong prioritization skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Comfortable using computer systems and office software
Strong interpersonal skills including communication and problem solving
HVAC service dispatching experience (3 years required)
Schedule

Rotating weekends
On-call participation required
Compensation and Benefits
$18.00 $25.00 per hour (based on experience)
