Job Summary

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Door Mechanism Engineer with 5 10 years of expertise in automotive door systems and mechanism design. The candidate will be responsible for design development validation and release of door-related mechanical components while ensuring compliance with performance quality cost and timing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop automotive door mechanisms including hinges latches regulators window lift systems and check arms.
Lead component and system-level design activities from concept to production release.
Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and GD&T application.
Conduct DFMEA DVP&R and root cause analysis for mechanism-related issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Body Engineering Electrical CAE Manufacturing Suppliers).
Support prototype builds validation testing and vehicle launches.
Ensure compliance with safety regulatory and durability standards.
Work closely with suppliers for design reviews tooling development and part validation.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
5 10 years of experience in automotive door systems or body mechanisms.
Strong knowledge of door architecture latch systems hinges regulators and sealing interfaces.
Proficiency in CAD tools (CATIA / NX / Creo).
Experience with DFMEA GD&T tolerance stack-up and validation processes.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
