Job Summary

We have direct client (Oil & Gas domain company) located Houston TX that is currently looking to fill an open full-time (PERM) Structural Lead Engineer position. This role will require 100% onsite support.

The budgeted salary range in place for this role falls within the $225000 - $260000. US Citizens GC H1B and TN-1 visa candidates are acceptable and relocation support will be provided.

Location: Houston Texas

FTE with Direct Client

Role:

Lead & manage a global team of Structural Engineer & designer / 3D modeler for detail engineering of fast paced modularized LNG project.

Review the work of engineers and designers developing engineering and design documents for Piling & Foundation and Module & Stick Built Steel Pipe Racks/Structures as needed.

Review monitor & ensure compliance requirements are met for the design (e.g. Standards specification and local codes & regulations etc.)

Perform reviews of vendor documents to ensure specifications & data sheet requirements are met.

Lead a group of 15 20 Engineers & Designers/3D Modelers

Serve as technical resource & point of contact for external or internal customers.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Civil/Structural Engineering minimum required.

10 years relevant experience in refining and petrochemical industry LNG Project preferably with EPC experience

7 years experience working in a lead position.

Licensed Professional Engineer with NCEES records preferred

Travel < 25% expected.

Experience providing guidance leadership and training to less experienced engineers.

Experience managing & responding to the RFIs from owners construction team vendors EPC contractors.

Software Knowledge:

STAAD Pro Risa STAAD Foundation Mat 3D Foundation. 3D MathCAD

Navisworks MicroStation AutoCAD
