Job Summary
Job Title: Material Coordinator
Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Location: Grovetown GA 30813
Duration: 1 Year (possible extension)
Shift: 1st shift 6:00 AM 2:30 PM EST (OT possible)
Role Summary
- Manage material flow to support production
- Ensure parts availability at point of use
- Maintain accurate inventory and schedules
- Entry-level role
Key Duties
- Coordinate material delivery and Kanban fills
- Create and distribute daily production schedules
- Track shortages and resolve inventory errors
- Process inbound/outbound material transactions
- Expedite parts to avoid line stoppage
- Communicate part issues to operations
- Use SAP for material transactions
- Support engineering changes
- Support continuous improvement
Required Skills
- 2 years with Excel Word Outlook
- Teamwork and multitasking
- Strong communication
- Planning and documentation
- Willing to work overtime and Saturdays
Preferred Skills
- SAP experience
- Supply chain or material flow knowledge
- Kanban and manufacturing processes
- Data analysis and root cause analysis
- Meeting facilitation experience
Education
- Bachelors in Business Engineering Supply Chain
- Or 3 years relevant experience
