The Role
As an EDS Specialist - Senior E3D Administrator with Worley you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
The Senior Everything 3D (E3D) Administrator is responsible for project set up maintenance and support of the system. The E3D administrator will maintain all areas of the 3D model environment for stability and maintenance. The Administrator shall ensure the modelling environment works appropriately regarding the generation control and distribution of 3D model interfaces. The E3D administrator should be client focused with excellent communication skills and good team player.
- Setup and management of new and existing engineering projects within Everything 3D in standalone as well in workshare mode.
- E3D Administration Project setup Global workshare setup and Model replication.
- Troubleshooting E3D software issue and Providing user-support to project resources.
- Global daemon administration.
- Application database maintenance activities.
- Continually seeking opportunities to increase end-user satisfaction.
- E3D Customization required for project deliverables Drawing ADP setup Isometric setup and MTO/Reports configuration.
- Customize E3D catalog for Piping specifications Piping specialty Instruments Pipe supports System(MDS) Steel section library cable tray specs etc.
- Configuration of Clash manager and provide ongoing support for Clash Resolution.
- Implement automation tools that will benefit the project deliverable.
Other Attributes:
- Utilize 3D model reporting to assist monitoring of design quality and progress.
- Prepare Project specific job notes and provide application trainings for all the E3D Modules.
- Gain a full understanding of the scope overall schedule deliverables milestones and coordination procedure.
- Coordination with other discipline team leads and users to project requirements are met in a timely manner.
- Provides guidance and direction on department design guides standards systems applicable engineering codes and Worley policies.
- Supports continuous improvement and change management efforts - Typically provides support to business development or pursuit activities.
- Responsible for assisting with identification of key client interests and drivers on moderately complex projects and may determine the key clients in some instances.
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering / Diploma in Engineering with over 8 years experience.
- 5 years of relevant experience of Everything 3D Administration.
- 3 years of relevant experience of PDMS Administration.
- In-depth working knowledge of E3D/PDMS Administration activities.
- In-depth working knowledge of 3D plant design practices.
- Experience in customizing Piping specifications Piping Specialty Instruments Pipe supports Steel library cable tray specifications etc.
- Experience of writing PML1/2/.net and C# programs and Visual .
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective oral and written communication skills required.
- Experience utilizing LFM laser scan data and utilizing other 3D systems will be a plus.
- Experience with Aveva Diagram P&ID Engineering Instrumentation Electrical etc. and integration with data flow between engineering application will be an added advantage.
- Experience in conducting training and user support.
- Knowledge of Engineering workflow in an EPC environment.
- Ensure a smooth handover of the 3D model to our clients in cooperation with information owners.
- Good to have:
- Experience in Oil and Gas/Chemical/Petrochemical.
- Knowledge of ERM - E3D interface.
- Knowledge of Piping Materials codes and standards.
- Knowledge of ANSI EN dimensional standards.
- Knowledge of Aveva Engineering.
