Role:
Provide on-site technical support maintenance and monitoring for LAN and ICT Security equipment at client premises. Ensure network and security systems operate efficiently securely and without disruption while advising clients on current technologies and improvements.
Responsibilities:
Technical Support and Maintenance
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance (CM) for all LAN and ICT security-related issues and logs.
• Provide on-site technical support for network and security equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Detect and monitor network traffic usage exceeding predefined thresholds.
• Maintain network and security equipment configurations and policies.
• Conduct troubleshooting and repair activities to restore normal operations promptly.
Documentation and Reporting
• Prepare and submit detailed monthly technical reports related to LAN and ICT security services.
• Produce monthly Security Threat Summary Reports and other related documentation as required
by the Client.
Advisory and Planning Support
• Provide technical consultation and recommendations on network and ICT security planning and development activities.
• Share the latest technology updates relevant to LAN and ICT security.
• Assist in designing and implementing improvement plans based on operational needs.
Network and Security Monitoring
• Supervise monitor and maintain the Client’s network and security infrastructure to ensure availability and reliability. • Identify and respond to potential threats attacks or disruptions to the network. • Monitor and manage all managed service equipment under the project scope. • Oversee data center and branch network infrastructure performance. • Ensure continuous (24/7) network and security monitoring for uninterrupted operations.
Incident Response
• Detect and report any security breaches or intrusions promptly.
• Develop and implement response plans for any identified network or security incidents.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to mitigate and resolve incidents effectively.
Other Duties
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Client from time to time.
• Ensure compliance with all project policies procedures and service level agreements (SLAs).
Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in network and ICT security support.
• Proven track record in configuring maintaining and troubleshooting Fortinet Firewall and related security equipment.
• Experience working in client-facing on-site roles with exposure to incident response and network monitoring.
Requirements:
• Must have Fortinet Firewall experience or certification
• Experience or certification in ACSA Cisco Aruba and CCNP is desirable
• Strong understanding of LAN infrastructure and ICT security equipment
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and incident response procedures
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently at client site
• Client-focused with advisory mindset
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Information Technology Network Engineering or related field
- Relevant professional certifications (Fortinet ACSA Cisco Aruba CCNP) are highly desirable
