Physical Education Teacher (Primary School)
Location: DLF Phase 1 Gurgaon
Job Summary
The Physical Education Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering age-appropriate physical education lessons to primary school students. The role focuses on developing students physical fitness motor skills teamwork confidence and healthy lifestyle habits in a safe positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging PE lessons suitable for primary-aged students
- Teach fundamental movement skills basic sports games and physical activities
- Promote physical fitness coordination teamwork and fair play
- Ensure student safety by following school policies and supervising activities closely
- Assess and monitor students physical development and participation
- Adapt activities to meet the needs of students with different abilities
- Encourage positive behavior sportsmanship and self-confidence
- Maintain and organize sports equipment and facilities
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff
- Participate in school events sports days and extracurricular activities
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians when required
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors degree or diploma in Physical Education or a related field
- Teaching certification or relevant training (as per school requirements)
- Experience teaching physical education to primary school children (preferred)
- Strong classroom and behavior management skills
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
- Ability to motivate and engage young learners
- Good communication and teamwork skills
