Job Summary

The Physical Education Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering age-appropriate physical education lessons to primary school students. The role focuses on developing students physical fitness motor skills teamwork confidence and healthy lifestyle habits in a safe positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Plan prepare and deliver engaging PE lessons suitable for primary-aged students
Teach fundamental movement skills basic sports games and physical activities
Promote physical fitness coordination teamwork and fair play
Ensure student safety by following school policies and supervising activities closely
Assess and monitor students physical development and participation
Adapt activities to meet the needs of students with different abilities
Encourage positive behavior sportsmanship and self-confidence
Maintain and organize sports equipment and facilities
Collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff
Participate in school events sports days and extracurricular activities
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians when required

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelors degree or diploma in Physical Education or a related field
Teaching certification or relevant training (as per school requirements)
Experience teaching physical education to primary school children (preferred)
Strong classroom and behavior management skills
Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
Ability to motivate and engage young learners
Good communication and teamwork skills
