What you will be doing
- Develop relationships with community service providers and provides technical assistance related to nonprofit management. Provides community liaison/facilitation and other expertise to diverse community partners and networks.
- Help aging services organizations build capacity internally to better serve their communities today and in the future.
- Develop and implements activities to improve services for low-income seniors in underserved areas of the 7-county metro area and other target populations under a contract with the state of Minnesota the ElderCare Development Partnership (EDP) contract.
- Provide technical assistance related to grant applications and management.
- Lead the design and implementation of various initiatives to help Trellis meet the organizations goals of improving the lives and well-being of older adults.
- This position will require significant time working in the community with participation at some events outside of regular business hours.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in design development and implementation of program outcomes.
- Experience working with cross-cultural and multi-racial communities
- Experience in establishing and maintaining cooperative effective relationships that include the provision of technical assistance/consultation in service development and dissemination.
- Reliable transportation
A Bachelors degree in social services gerontology health-related fields education nonprofit public or business administration or related fields strongly preferred. Do you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Are you highly organized and detail-oriented Do you have strong problem-solving skills Can you successfully work independently and alongside a team Are you great at time management If yes you may be perfect for this position!
WORK SCHEDULE
This position works Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with two-three in office days per week and remaining time spent working from home or in the community.
