What you will be doing

• Develop relationships with community service providers and provides technical assistance related to nonprofit management. Provides community liaison/facilitation and other expertise to diverse community partners and networks.
• Help aging services organizations build capacity internally to better serve their communities today and in the future.
• Develop and implements activities to improve services for low-income seniors in underserved areas of the 7-county metro area and other target populations under a contract with the state of Minnesota the ElderCare Development Partnership (EDP) contract.
• Provide technical assistance related to grant applications and management.
• Lead the design and implementation of various initiatives to help Trellis meet the organizations goals of improving the lives and well-being of older adults.
• This position will require significant time working in the community with participation at some events outside of regular business hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in design development and implementation of program outcomes.
• Experience working with cross-cultural and multi-racial communities
• Experience in establishing and maintaining cooperative effective relationships that include the provision of technical assistance/consultation in service development and dissemination.
• Reliable transportation

A Bachelors degree in social services gerontology health-related fields education nonprofit public or business administration or related fields strongly preferred. WORK SCHEDULE

This position works Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with two-three in office days per week and remaining time spent working from home or in the community.
