Job Summary
My Client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancer to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively while communicating clearly with clients and stakeholders. As a Conveyancer you will play a crucial role in facilitating property transactions ensuring that all legal requirements are met efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities
- Manage the conveyancing process from start to finish including drafting contracts and conducting property searches.
- Liaise with clients estate agents and other legal professionals to ensure smooth communication throughout the transaction.
- Prepare and review legal documents related to property transfers ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and client communications using IT systems.
- Provide clients with updates on their cases addressing any queries or concerns promptly.
- Conduct due diligence on properties including title checks and identifying any potential issues that may affect the sale or purchase.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure best practices are followed within the team.
Requirements
- Proven experience in conveyancing or a related legal field is preferred.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal to interact effectively with clients and professionals.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Highly organised with a keen attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Proficient in IT systems relevant to conveyancing processes; familiarity with case management software is advantageous.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
