What will you create and do
We are looking for a high-performing Regional Sales Manager to drive revenue growth across the West and South India regions. This role requires a hands-on sales leader who can initially sell independently and then build and manage a high-impact sales team over time.
You will be responsible for expanding SMS Magics footprint across key verticals such as Healthcare (Hospitals & Clinics) Fintech and D2C by engaging with senior stakeholders driving complex solution-led sales and ensuring long-term account growth through both hunting and farming strategies.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in complex IT / CPaaS / Conversational AI solution selling the ability to manage enterprise stakeholders and a proven track record of achieving aggressive revenue targets in India.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive regional revenue across West and South India (Mumbai Pune Bangalore and surrounding territories).
Own direct sales initially closing deals independently before scaling the team.
Hire onboard and manage a team of 24 sales representatives within 612 months.
Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with company goals.
Identify pursue and close new business opportunities across Hospitals Clinics Fintech and D2C sectors.
Lead complex solution-selling engagements including architecture discussions integrations and PoCs.
Manage and grow existing customer accounts through farming upsell and cross-sell initiatives.
Collaborate closely with the inside sales team based in Bangalore for lead qualification and deal support.
Maintain a strong pipeline covering opportunities PoCs pilots and contracts.
Drive deal negotiations pricing discussions and contract closures.
Ensure accurate forecasting reporting and CRM hygiene for management visibility.
Meet and exceed assigned regional quota (35 Crores).
Travel extensively across customer locations and company offices as required.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Number of on-field customer meetings and active opportunities
PoCs / pilots initiated and successfully converted
Contracts won and deal value
Revenue and quota achievement
Account retention and expansion
