Our client is adding a Supply Chain Logistics Assistant to their growing company. This is a hybrid position with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. If you or any of your colleagues are interested in this opportunity please click Apply Now.

As a Supply Chain Logistics Assistant you will have 1 years of export shipping experience. You will be the point of contact for the company and customers for all outgoing and incoming shipments of industrial components. You will create shipping documents including packing lists and manifests shipping instructions BOLs (Bills of Lading) commercial invoices and any necessary paperwork to keep communication accurate and up to date. You will track a large number of containers break bulk shipments and truck shipments for importing and exporting for a wide variety of sizes weights and dimensions.

Requirements:

1-3 years of International Shipping experience required
1 years of experience issuing Purchase Orders is preferred
Ability to communicate with suppliers to confirm that engineering documents and manufacturing processes are aligned with deadlines
Experience working with vendors freight forwarders customers and internal stakeholders
Able to manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on containers contents method of shipment related drawings for shipment deadlines and all necessary information
