Salary 24796 - 25185 Per annum Pro Rata Part time Permanent 23.3 hours per week Adult Disability Domiciliary Service - Burnley Pendle and Rossendale

Rota consists of two nights in the first week two nights second week and three nights third week over a three week rota.

We are currently recruiting to our Supported Living Service

Caring and reliable community support workers to work within the Burnley Pendle and Rossendale domiciliary services inAdult Social Care at Lancashire County Council.

We are looking for cheerful and positive individuals who would like to make a difference to the people we support to come and join our team. Our Supported Living Service requires 3 wake watch Community Support Workers to join us in making a substantial difference to the lives of the people we support within our Adult Disability Service.

You will be welcomed into peoples homes and make their night time routine something to look forward to with your upbeat attitude and friendly persona. It is not essential that you have a background in Health and Social Care you just need to have a good heart and a caring nature. We provide all the required training to ensure you get the most from your role with qualifications on offer its a great opportunity to progress in this service and turn it into a career to be proud of!

Empathy & Resilience you will have an understanding of the challenges the people we support deal with which means an empathic nature is of upmost importance you will need bags of motivation the needs of our service users can be complex and you may face challenging behaviour but your determination and dedication to excellent care will make it feel easy it is essential that you are able to communicate clearly and effectively with every individual providing reassurance and positivity.

The Adult Disability Service also promotes career development opportunities with various qualifications and training on offer you will be able to take advantage of a QCF qualification (Qualifications and Credit Framework) which is NVQ Level 3 equivalent we also have very supportive management team who ensure all team members are guided great culture and youll be working alongside people with the same values as your own.
