Duties and responsibilities:
General Office Administration
Coordinate office administration support to the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Office.
Keep an inventory and order office equipment and supplies where necessary.
Support the planning and logistics of RPL meetings and strategic planning.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) administration
Act as the first point of contact to RPL prospective candidates staff and the general community.
Provide necessary information and RPL documentation to enquirers.
Advise prospective candidates and candidates on their RPL application and process.
Receive and screen RPL applications and request outstanding documents.
Quality control RPL application documents and forms.
Capture and keep a record of the filing of RPL Applications admissions and other RPL-related processes.
Record all relevant RPL processes in the database.
Keep a record of the RPL process of candidates and follow up on the application process where necessary.
Coordinate all logistical arrangements for RPL workshops.
Client Relationships Liaison
Liaise with Internal and External stakeholders including candidates.
Co-ordinate the information dissemination and communication of RPL at the UFS.
Financial administration
Process requisitions purchase orders and operate all relevant finance systems.
Process/ issue invoices for RPL candidates corporate companies and Bursary officers.
Keep track of RPL payments and expenditure.
Follow up on outstanding RPL application and assessment fees.
Coordinate and process ad hoc payments.
Liaise with the UFS finance department on all RPL payments.
Contribute to the Planning and Implementation of RPL-related Projects
RPL annual orientation guide.
RPL Evaluation.
RPL Learner Case Management tool.
Maintenance of the RPL website.
Inherent Job Requirements:
Grade 12 or National Vocational Certificate on NQF level 4.
A minimum of one (1) years relevant working experience in office management/administration.
A minimum of one (1) years relevant experience in student support and/or advising.
Recommendations:
Two (2) years relevant experience in academic advising or any other student-facing services.
A Bachelors degree on NQF Level 7 in the field of Business Administration or Higher Education-related field.

Salary:
The annual remuneration package including benefits is RRper annum depending on the budget available for the position relevant work experience and qualifications.
