Job Summary
The Faculty of Engineering and Science Department of Energy
AAU Energy is looking for a student helper for modelling of flexible energy routers in distribution grid. The position requires knowledge within power electronics power systems smart transformers control theory PLECS and RTDS. The employment is expected from March 15th 2026 or soon hereafter.
Your tasks:
- Design a flexible energy router with classical transformers
- Quantify flexibility from each asynchronous grid
- Model asynchronous grid in PLECS and RTDS
- Performance benchmarking for different scales of asynchronous grids

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable Collective Agreement for Student Instructors at Universities etc. (Official title: Overenskomst for studenterundervisere ved universiteter mv.). Employment is conditional upon being a student.
