The Job:
- Bring Soccer Island alive with your enthusiasm and creativity.
- Conduct soccer classes for children 2 to 8 years old including field set-up and take-down.
- Encourage character development through positive reinforcement and modeling.
- Utilize expert-created Soccer Shots curriculum and early childhood development teaching techniques in every session.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
- Follow all on-site safety and attendance protocols.
- Communicate effectively with supervisor families and teachers.
- Transport self and equipment to class location setup and tear down field
Qualifications:
- Active Oregon Central Background Registry (CBR) Required
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a preschool / daycare setting
- High School Diploma with some additional early childhood education hours
- Genuine passion for children and sports.
- Energetic engaging responsible and safety conscious.
- Ability to adapt to the needs of kids ages 2-8.
- Drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to stand jog and model childrens soccer skills.
REQUIRED: Experienced preschool soccer coach applicant MUST be active in the Oregon Central Background Registry. If applicant doesnt have a CBR please look for our standard preschool soccer coach job posting to apply.
