Job Summary
Our Barcelona studio is looking for a Game Designer to join the team. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Design fun and immersive gameplay mechanics meta-game features and stories following briefings and direction from your lead.
- Taking care of all aspects of game design: prototyping these mechanics benchmarking references documenting implementing in game testing and fine-tuning them.
- Keeping documentation up to date with special focus on UI fakes and flows and the overall User Experience.
- Overall work in creative benchmarking documentation and analyzing tasks
- Follow-up maintenance and continuous improvement of assigned features
- Team coordination: coordinating with art and development teams assigned to the project with the associated producer
Qualifications :
- 3 Years of experience working in Game Design
- Strong knowledge of Game Design foundations (3Cs gameplay systems AI learning curve difficulty balancing progression balancing UI accessibility)
- Able to convey ideas concisely and as part of a detailed analysis and to clearly formalize complex concepts and ideas
- Good UI and documentation skills with proven experience on this field
- High visual creativity
- Able to illustrate and/or prototype your ideas visually using standard industry production tools (Photoshop PowerPoint Figma Confluence Sketch-up 3D Studio Max Unity etc.)
- Knowledge of classic console and freemium mobile game market
- Motivation and ability to communicate as part of the project development team
- Able to listen to feedback from other people and constantly critique your work to achieve the best possible quality
- Good level of English
