This position sits within our Sales division and is the front-line point of contact for identifying matching and selling prospects the appropriate solutions from our software portfolio.
The Opportunity
The Business Development Representative (BPM) is responsible for outbound activity and fielding inbound leads from building product manufacturer or large sales opportunitieswith a goal of generating interest in our cloud-based SaaS solutions serving the commercial construction industry. This position schedules & confirms demonstration appointments for National Sales Consultants. The Business Development Representatives (BPM) works in collaboration with team members to achieve monthly quarterly and annual sales targets.
Responsibilities
What You will Be Doing
- Present our company and deliver a value proposition to potential clients and document all activity calls and results in
- Set qualified appointments for the National Sales Consultants and document notes from and interactions in
- Fields inbound calls emails and respond to prospect form fills
- Contact prospect accounts through cold calls and emails from lists provided targeted accounts and follow up on outbound marketing campaigns and responses to campaigns
- Work independently to seek out prospects best suited to meet the team objective
- Attend trade shows as required visiting prospect booths and establishing relationships
- Participate in ongoing training as it relates to our products services and sales training opportunities
- Drive to individually compete while remaining coachable and collaborative to exceed your monthly targets and metrics
- Recognize and alert manager of trends in prospect/customer calls

Qualifications
What You Bring to the Team
- Bachelors Degree 2 year of B2B sales/development experience OR Associates Degree and 3 years of account management or sales/development experience OR HS Diploma and 5 years of account management or sales experience OR 1 year in a ConstructConnect role.
- Strong record of sales success preferably selling a SaaS product or service
- Experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software (Salesforce preferred)
- Experience in consultative and value selling multiple sales techniques to include cold calling
- Thrive in a fast paced changing environment
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- The physical activities of this position include frequent sitting telephone communication working on a computer for extended periods of time. Visual acuity is required to perform activities close to the eyes.
- This position is fully remote with only occasional travel to the office for team meetings and events. Team members are expected to have an established workspace.
- Ability to work remotely in the United States or Canada.
