QUALIFICATIONS: 1. A valid principal supervisor curriculum or superintendent certificate.
- At least five years of experience in Administration/Principal preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Administration processes/routines.
- Quality communication skills (verbal and written).
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Administration may find appropriate and acceptable.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide leadership for ensuring that staff members comply with the rules safety procedures and government regulations.
- Develops and evaluates annual department goals.
- Ensures the evaluation of all departmental personnel.
- Excellent public relations skills.
- To assist the Superintendent by serving in a cabinet-level management role.
- Demonstrated history of team building leadership and administrative skills.
- Exercise proactive leadership in promoting the vision and mission of the District.
- Provide support to assigned departments continuous improvement objectives and strategies.
- Prepare or oversee the preparation of all required reports.
- Work cooperatively as a team to improve the academic gains of the district.
- Assist in development of District goals and plans.
- Supervise and appraise the performance of the assigned directors and other personnel.
- Review assigned departments improvement plans and monitor their evaluation.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superintendent.
