About Us
Haldeman Ford of Hamilton is a high-volume customer-focused dealership committed to quality repairs operational efficiency and delivering a first-class ownership experience. Our collision center is growing and we are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Collision Painter to join our team.
Position Summary
The Collision Painter is responsible for performing high-quality refinish work in accordance with OEM standards dealership procedures and insurance guidelines. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship maintains production efficiency and understands the importance of delivering a flawless finished product that drives customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
Perform all aspects of automotive refinishing including:
Surface preparation (sanding masking priming)
Color matching and blending
Basecoat/clearcoat application
Buffing and final finish correction
Mix and apply paint per manufacturer specifications
Maintain spray booth cleanliness and proper ventilation standards
Follow OEM refinish procedures and material guidelines
Perform quality control inspections prior to vehicle delivery
Work closely with estimators and body technicians to meet cycle time goals
Adhere to all safety PPE and environmental compliance requirements
Qualifications
Minimum 35 years of collision refinishing experience preferred
Strong color-matching and blending skills
Experience with waterborne paint systems
I-CAR certification preferred
Ability to meet production standards without compromising quality
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
