The MRI Staff Technologist works under the supervision of the Administrative Supervisor and/or Director and operates a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatments of pathologies Selects appropriate imaging techniques and operates console and peripheral hardware; enters and monitors patient data transfers images from disk to PACS.Position Details:
Loan Repayment Assistance Program up to $20000 Lifetime: The Imaging Loan Repayment Assistance Program provides financial support to our Mercy Imaging co-workers in a 24X7 hospital based eligible position who are in a .4 FTE and above working 32 hours or more per pay period. The program offers monthly payments made directly to the loan servicer up to the amount of $370 per month and up to $20000 for a lifetime maximum.
Qualifications:
Required Education: Secondary and some post-secondary. Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology Program.
Certifications: ARRT (MR) Registry or ARMRIT required within 18 months of hire. BLS Basic Life Support Within 3 Months Of Hire.
Other: Excellent communication analytical and organizational skills. Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts practices and procedures. Operate various types of office equipment including a computer fax machine telephone printer and copy machine.
