Eisenhower Health is seeking experienced Orthopedic Technologists to support their clinical team in Rancho Mirage CA. This is a travel opportunity with a possibility of extension or temp-to-hire based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist orthopedic physicians/PAs with patient care including casting splinting and external fixators
Perform patient intake rooming and documentation
Prepare exam rooms and maintain inventory of supplies
Assist during procedures by anticipating physician needs
Apply and remove orthopedic devices (casts splints braces)
Perform suture/staple removal and dressing changes
Manage patient flow and handle patient communications
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with surgery documentation
Support DME processing when required
Follow all compliance safety and clinic protocols
Required Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
Critical thinking and attention to detail
Proficiency with basic office equipment (computer scanner phone etc.)
Education & Certification:
High School Diploma or GED (required)
Orthopedic Technician Certification (required)
BLS Certification (AHA required)
