Full-Time Direct Hire $61000 - $70000
Overview
Our client is a leading food and beverage manufacturing company seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to partner with plant leadership in promoting a proactive safety culture while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. The successful candidate will work closely with the Safety Manager to implement policies and programs that protect our workforce and maintain the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Program Development: Assist in reviewing revising and implementing safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance
- Risk Assessment: Partner with operations teams to evaluate work practices and recommend improvements to reduce workplace risks
- Incident Management: Lead incident reporting and investigation processes including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
- Training Delivery: Develop and conduct monthly safety training for all associates continuously improving program effectiveness
- Compliance Auditing: Perform routine safety audits and inspections to ensure adherence to corporate and regulatory safety standards
- Specialized Training: Conduct targeted safety training programs and evaluate their effectiveness
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial manufacturing (assembly/machine shop environment)
- Supervisory experience in high-volume fast-paced manufacturing facilities
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices
- Excellent communication and training skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience or degree in safety management
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- CPE CSP or CIH certification
- Experience in food and beverage manufacturing
