About the Opportunity
A leading well-established food & beverage manufacturing organization is seeking a Quality Food Safety Team Leader to drive excellence across plant-level food safety compliance and continuous improvement.
This is a high-impact leadership role where you will own critical food safety programs influence plant operations and ensure the delivery of safe high-quality products at scale.

What Youll Do
- Lead execution of the Plant Food Safety Program including HACCP CCPs and regulatory compliance
- Drive CAPA investigations for food safety environmental and micro-related non-conformances
- Oversee environmental monitoring and microbial sampling programs
- Own and lead GMP audits internal quality audits and compliance programs
- Partner cross-functionally with operations to embed food safety into daily execution
- Support and prepare for FDA USDA AIB and external audits
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across quality systems
- Deliver training and education to plant teams on food safety standards
- Track and report Quality KPIs to leadership
What You Bring
- Bachelors degree in Food Science Biology Engineering or related field
- 3 years of experience in food safety within a manufacturing environment
- Strong experience with HACCP GMP CAPA and sanitation programs
- Hands-on involvement with environmental monitoring and microbial testing
- Experience supporting or leading regulatory and internal audits
Preferred:
- Certifications such as HACCP PCQI SQF
- Experience in CPG or high-volume food manufacturing
- Exposure to SAP or similar systems
- Background in microbiology or lab-based quality environments
